David Swift, Chairman and CEO
David co-founded Swift Hospitality Group with his wife Jan in 2003. He assists the executive team in negotiating select financial arrangements and the pursuit and due diligence of new development projects. He also plays a major role in motivating the rest of the Swift Hospitality Group team as it grows by reinforcing the spirit of hard work and family values with which he and Jan began the company. Recently, David was integral in developing the partnership with Highland Community College to create the HCC Hospitality Management program. The new associate of applied science degree in Hospitality Management is designed to provide pathways for individuals pursuing a career in the hotel and hospitality industry. David is also a respected public and corporate speaker.

Jan Swift, Corporate Secretary/Treasurer
Jan co-founded Swift Hospitality Group with her husband David in 2003. Like David, she motivates the rest of the Swift Hospitality Group team by reinforcing the spirit of hard work and family values with which she and he began the company, and collaborates with the senior staff and management.

Brice Swift, Executive Director and Vice President of Development
Brice is involved in all new development, new construction, and major renovations of Swift Hospitality Group properties. He has high expectations and standards for all of these projects, resulting in exquisitely maintained and developed properties. On a franchisee level, he has played a key role in Swift Hospitality Group's development of the new Cambria Suites by Choice Hotels. Brice, who has been with the company since 2004, obviously has learned the importance of hard work and family values from David and Jan, but also brings his own strong value system to bear within the corporate culture, including his strong conviction in quality as an organizational cornerstone, with quality being defined first and foremost by the customer.

Amy Swift Johnson, Executive Director, Swift Hospitality Group, and Executive Director, Freeport Assisted Living, LLC. DBA WinnPrairie
Amy jointly represents the Swift family’s interest with Brice Swift and collaborates with the executive team to ensure the corporate goals and objectives are reached. She plays a leadership role within the company as a representative of the Swift family in all aspects of the business. Amy supports an innovative culture that combines the spirit of hard work, family values, and continued personal and professional development. As the liaison between the Swift family and Highland Community College’s Hospitality Management Program, she is committed to enhancing the hospitality industry with a knowledgeable, well-rounded workforce. Her strong tie to the community strengthens her commitment to providing exceptional service and experience through all SHG partnerships.

Matt Jacobs, President
Matt is responsible for overall strategic planning, organizational development, new business, investor relations, franchise relations, and leads the organization in reviewing each new development and management opportunity. His focus is on Swift Hospitality Group’s mission of maximizing the value of every asset. Matt, who has been with the company since 2004, was an integral part of opening multiple properties as a General Manager prior to joining the Corporate office in 2008. Since that time, he has served in various roles and most recently as the Executive Vice President of Operations. He concentrates on profitability through revenue management and expense control, adherence to brand standards, property maintenance, and guest satisfaction. His determination for efficiency and constant improvement keeps the Swift Hospitality Group team moving in a positive direction.

Ty Fehlhafer, Senior Director of Operations
As Senior Director of Operations, Ty is responsible for the operations of a portfolio of our hotels. He works directly with each hotel’s management team to maximize guest satisfaction as well as profitability. Ty has also established a preferred vendor network for our properties, leveraging the Swift Hospitality Group portfolio to reduce costs and provide best in class service from each vendor. Ty has multiple years of experience in the hospitality industry, including serving as the opening General Manager at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Elk Grove Village, IL. Ty has also held the positions of Director of Guest Experience and Brand Standards and Director of Procurement and Asset Management with Swift Hospitality Group.

Sam Cannon, Director of Revenue Management
Sam is responsible for working with each hotel’s management team to develop and implement strategies to help them realize their maximum revenue potential. Sam has over two decades of hotel management experience and has opened and managed two properties currently in Swift’s portfolio. With a background in various markets and properties ranging from limited service branded to full service and historic boutique hotels, Sam leverages his experience to assist each property in identifying opportunities for revenue growth. Sam joined the Swift Hospitality Group in Fall of 2011 and is a two time recipient of General Manager of the Year.

Jasmin Marcus, Director of Revenue Management
Jasmin is responsible for the development and implementation of sales, marketing, and revenue strategy for her portfolio of hotels. She is also responsible for training and developing the sales teams at all Swift hotels. Jasmin is certified in revenue management from Cornell University and is a Marriott certified revenue manager. With experience at upscale, historic, extended stay, and limited service hotels across the country, Jasmin is able to create value and drive performance. Her brand experience includes Carlson, Marriott, IHG, and Choice. Jasmin joined the Swift Hospitality Group in Fall of 2011 and is a two-time recipient of the Director of Sales of the Year award. Jasmin’s background in sales and passion for analytics and revenue strategy make her a unique asset to the Swift Hospitality Group team.

Tyler Kleparski, Administrative Manager
Tyler has been with the company since 2007 and has spent time at three properties within the Swift portfolio. He started at the Country Inn & Suites in Freeport, IL as a Front Desk Agent, then was promoted to Assistant General Manager in Rock Falls, IL, and then was promoted to General Manager of the AmericInn in Fulton, IL. Tyler oversaw a brand change in Fulton. His brand experience includes Carlson, Choice, and Wyndham. As a Swift Hospitality employee, Tyler provides senior level guidance to the hotels on a day-to-day basis.

Maggie Siebert, Executive Administrative Assistant
Maggie is responsible for a wide variety of jobs that include general bookkeeping, analysis of financial reports, and management of the day-to-day functions in the Swift Hospitality Group corporate office. Maggie comes to the company with multiple years in the hospitality field, having started with Swift Hospitality Group in January 2011 at the Country Inn & Suites in Freeport, IL as a Front Desk Agent and then was promoted to Assistant General Manager. Maggie is the proud recipient of the 2013 Front Desk Agent of the Year and the 2014 Assistant General Manager of the Year awards.
